Woollen Goods

All items for sale are produced from the wool of our own sheep. They are specially bred to produce naturally coloured wool of high quality. This means that the wool does not need dyeing, so it is very environmentally friendly. It goes to the spinning mill in Brecon which is 25 miles away, and returns to us to be knitted up on the farm. This means that it has very low fibre miles. The weaving is done for us by a local weaver.

Hand Knitting Wool

This comes in approximately 200 gram skeins in various natural shades as available. The shades change every year due to the natural variation in the sheeps\' fleeces. Skeins come in double knitting and light Aran weight at £ 13.50 per skein plus P&P.

Also available ths year is a double-knitting yarn in a beautiful silver-grey which is 25% Angora (goat), 25% Gotland sheep wool, and 50% lambswool at £ 15.00 per 200 (approx) gram skein, plus P&P.

Knitting

Machine-knitted hats and jumpers made on the farm just a few yards from where the sheep is standing that produced the wool for them. The hats come in a variety of designs in small, medium and large sizes, at £ 10.00 plus P&P. Jumpers are £ 65.00 plus P&P, also in small, medium and large. Ladies and mens sizes. The banded jacket is a flattering style which I produce in various colours and with a variety of different designs down the bands. A medium size, the price is £50.00 plus P&P.

Weaving

Scarves(6 feet, 1.8 metres) are £ 18.50 plus P&P and come in a variety of striped designs and natural colours. Throws (approx. 55 inches square [1.4 metres]) with twisted fringes in a variety of striped and checked designs are £ 56.00 plus P&P.

Sheepskins

All sheepskins are from our own sheep, naturally coloured, and organically tanned in Herefordshire. All are washable and instructions will be provided on request. Prices range £ 50.00 - £ 65.00 plus P&P.

Each sheep is a mixture of many different breeds so the fleeces are varied in colour, type and quality.

This is a small farming business and we regret that we cannot accept any type of credit or debit card.
