Example
Genes Talking saw the installation of a fully function laboratory in an arts space. The space did not have running water, nor was it suitable for any form of toxic waste. These issues were easily overcome. Many biotechnology companies were kind enough to lend us the equipment for use in a laboratory. Our partner at the MRC Clinical Sciences centre also lent much of their equipment, as well as the mostly volunteer staff. The result was a fully functioning lab in the middle of an art gallery.
